So this week I made a mistake. I bleached my hair. Now from what I’ve read this is a common mistake that many of us will make at one point or another, which is why I’m writing this post. I want to beg and plead that you avoid bleaching your hair.
So let me give you a little background on my hair. I have very dry hair and I’ve worked so hard to keep my hair hydrated. I’m talking coconut oil, split-end treatments, deep conditioners and avoiding heat on my hair when I can. I must say, my hair has come a very long way and I’ve made my hairdresser very proud.
Now let me give you a little background on my hairdresser. I am very, very picky about who touches my hair. When I say I’ve tried pretty much everyone in Gainesville, you’re probably thinking I’m over exaggerating, but I’m really not. It has gotten to a point where I just stopped going at all and began cutting my own hair for maybe a year and a half (I gave myself the cutest bangs, too). Continue reading
Jennifer Aniston in a vintage John Galliano dress, Jimmy Choo sandals, Armit body chain and Fred Leighton jewels.
I’m so excited that Jennifer Aniston is taking more risks on the Red Carpet. Who knew this hottie would be showing as much skin as she is today. Keep it up, keep it up!
Emma Stone in Christian Dior Haute Couture.
Emma nails the masculine/feminine look in this. I’m always excited to see what she’s bringing to the Red Carpet.
Maggie Gyllenhaal in a Thakoon dress, Bulgari clutch and jewelry.
AHHH finally!! Maggie Gyllenhaal looks so chic. She usually disappoints me, but I was ecstatic to see her look so incredible.
Emmy Rossum in Giorgio Armani.
The detail in this gown is exquisite. Just jaw-dropping beautiful. Continue reading
From best, to worst, to somewhere in between, the stars definitely gave us quite a bit to talk about. Some serious trends I’ve seen this year at the Golden Globes are white, metallic and red. Can’t wait to see some more stunning trends this season. This year’s Golden Globes Best Dressed, Worst Dressed and Best Hair/Makeup is found below!
Think someone should’ve made a list? Comment below and share your thoughts.
Can we say goddess?? Kate Hudson completely kills the red carpet in this gorgeous Atelier Versace gown. It hugs her in all the right places making her look sexy and classy at the same time. Absolutely stunning.
Is anyone actually surprised to find Lupita Nyong’o on this list? She’s been showing us her incredible taste since her first red carpet. Today she wore a delicate Giambattista Valli Couture gown that looked amazing against her skin.
Simple and stunning. Camila Alves wore a minimalist gown by Monique Lhuillier and showed off lighter locks at today’s red carpet.
These celebrities are killing it this month! From Jessica Chastin to Jennifer Lawrence, not a single look is similar, yet they’re all stunning. And the best part is that November isn’t even over. Take a look at my top beauty and fashion looks of November 2014…

Errands, errands and more errands…
It’s been one of those days, so I decided to dress according to my mood: a little bit of attitude, a whole lot of comfort.
Leggings and my little black booties makes any day easier because it is one of those outfits that you can move in. And with a day like mine, it’s exactly what I needed.
I want to say the booties are from Brazil along with the shirt. The sunwear you can find at Forever 21. They have the best selection for a pretty low price.
